Wilhelm Tecklenborg (* 26. Dezember 1882 in Geestemünde; † 8. Juni 1948 in Bremen) war ein deutscher Kaufmann und Automobilindustrieller der 1920er und 1930er Jahre.
Wilhelm Tecklenborg was the general agent of North German Lloyd in Naples until 1915 . In 1925 he took a stake in his business partner Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Borgward and was responsible for the commercial management until he left.
In 1931, the first passenger car - the Goliath Pionier - went into production. In 1937, Borgward could disburse his partner Wilhelm Tecklenborg and lead the company by himself from this time on. The name of the company was changed to Carl F. W. Borgward Automobil- und Motorenwerke GmbH in 1938.

On 23 September 1938 the Carl F. W. Borgward Automobil- und Motorenwerke factory was opened in Sebaldsbrück near Bremen.
