Born in Israël in 1965, with a degree in Oriental Language and Civilisations, Yaël Fogiel began her career in cinema as a sales manager and production manager for the production company Lapsus (France). In 1994 she co-founded Les Films Du Poisson with Laetitia Gonzalez.
