Oct 15, 2011 · Adding insult to injury, the half of music contained on RFD was previously released on Angels EP, with the song, “Angels Are Messengers From God”, simply being an alternate version of Faithless Street’s title track.
1995 original 4-song EP with fold-open picture sleeve. Group includes Ryan Adams. Vinyl is translucent brown when held up to light. Very minor corner/edge wear on sleeve.
The four-song 7-inch Angels contains the song that could stand as Whiskeytown’s opening manifesto, “Angels Are Messengers From God” (“So I started this damn country band / ‘Cause punk rock was too hard to sing”), later re-recorded as “Faithless Street.”
