- Who was your favourite co-star of all time and why? I don’t know. That’s kind of unfair. Gordon Tootoosis- maybe? We have the longest history, 40 years.
- Who did you go to jail with? Margot Kidder. (Kidder played Lois Lane in the 80sadaptation of Superman. Hint: They were protesting the Keystone XL pipeline together.)
Tantoo Cardinal’s legacy is a combination of acting and advocacy. Her career broke down barriers for Indigenous actors. She has used the power of positive representation to challenge negative images and stereotypes and to honour the history of Indigenous people in Canada.
