He was a series regular in the Kenya Barris-produced Freeform comedy Unrelated as well as the ABC drama pilot The Mission. Lofton also recurred on Empire and was cast in roles on Shameless, Snowfall, SMILF, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.
