Dean Carroll Jones (January 25, 1931 – September 1, 2015) was an American actor. He was best known for his roles as Agent Zeke Kelso in That Darn Cat! (1965), Jim Douglas in the Herbie franchise (1969–1997), and Dr. Herman Varnick in Beethoven (1992).

Dean Jones (84) died on a Tuesday, the 1st of September, 2015, in Los Angeles. His publicist, Richard Hoffman, reported the cause was Parkinson's disease. Known chiefly as one of Disney's main movie stars in the 60s & 70s, along with Fred MacMurray and Kurt Russell.
