    David Acord is a sound editor who works for Skywalker Sound. Acord served as Apprentice Sound Editor on Attack of the Clones, Assistant Sound Editor on Revenge of the Sith, Supervising Assistant [Sound Editor] on the DVD release of the original trilogy, and sound designer (and later re-recording mixer; sound designer/sound editor on film) on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, sound designer/re-recording mixer on "LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out," and sound designer/supervising sound editor on "Star Wars Rebels." Acord was also Supervising Sound Editor and Sound Designer for both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, receiving Oscar and BAFTA nominations for his work on both films. He was also Supervising Sound Editor and Sound Designer for Andor, as well as seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian (for which he received an Emmy award).

    Acord is also a voice actor for many Star Wars characters. He first provided the voice of the GH-7 medical droid in Revenge of the Sith. Later, Acord voiced Rotta the Huttlet from The Clone Wars. In 2015, Acord was the voice of a riot control stormtrooper designated FN-2199 in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a minor role which nevertheless proved popular with fans. Acord was also the voice of Two Tubes in both Rogue One and Andor as well as the voice of Teedo from The Force Awakens. He also provided the voice of Grogu in The Mandalorian.
