Padma Devi (1917–1983) was a popular Indian Bengali Hindi/Hindustani Film Actress and playback singer of Indian cinema, in the silent era and the early talkies. Starting her career with the main role in Sea Goddess (1931), directed by Dhirubhai Desai and produced by Saroj Film Company, Padma went on to act in over one hundred films in her career.

Padma Devi is the twin sister of Leela Devi in The Resident. She is portrayed by Aneesha Joshi.
She currently has twin boys with AJ Austin being the donor parent. In One Bullet, she has a c-section to deliver her babies and nearly bleeds out due to a complication and limited blood resources due to another patient's surgery, but survives and proceeds to recovery. Several episodes show her having difficulty with caring for the twins and by the time of the episode No Pressure No Diamonds, she has disappeared.
In Family Day and All In, Padma nearly attempts suicide, but looks at a picture sent by Leela of them and in the end, calls her and is taken to Chastain to be treated, discovered to be dealing with postpartum depression, something none of them noticed.
Towards the end of the season six finale episode, All Hands on Deck, she is seen with her sons after getting treated for postpartum depression.
