Michael Che Campbell (/ ˈ tʃ eɪ /; born May 19, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. Che is best known for his work on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live , where he has served as co-anchor on Weekend Update alongside Colin Jost , and the two were co-head writers from 2017 until 2022. Michael Che is a comedian and a cast member of Saturday Night Live since 2013. He has also written and produced several TV shows and specials, such as That Damn Michael Che and Michael Che Matters.
