The detail of Bogey life is brilliantly conceived and illustrated (the contents of a Bogey bathroom shelf alone are worth the price of the book), and the guiding story of Fungus' own vague existential doubts about Bogey life are a delicious parody of some much more heavy-handed English fiction.
