Louis A. Lamoriello (/ l æ m ər. ɛ l. oʊ /; born October 21, 1942) is an American professional ice hockey executive who is the president of hockey operations and general manager for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Lou Lamoriello is a three-time Stanley Cup champion and Hockey Hall of Famer who joined the Islanders in 2018. He has a long and successful career in the NHL, AHL, NBA and international hockey, and was also a coach and an athlete.
