Tom Fleischman (born September 15, 1951) is an American sound engineer and re-recording mixer. He is the son of film editor Dede Allen, and documentary producer, director, and writer Stephen Fleischman. He has worked on over 170 films since 1978.
Tom Fleischman. Sound Department: Hugo. Tom Fleischman began mixing feature films under the tutelage of New York rerecording mixer Richard (Dick) Vorisek in 1979. In 1981 Tom and Dick were nominated for an Academy Award for Best Sound for their work on Warren Beatty's Reds.
