Doctor Aitamaa (Tauno Palo) is having a summer holiday at his summer villa. On the last day of his holiday he finds a letter that is meant to his wife, Helena (Gunvor Sandkvist). The letter contains a request for a quick meeting. As jealous, Doctor Aitamaa goes to the city after his wife.
