Ikaris is a victim of poor circumstances, he was the only Eternal to remember the emergence of every planet they visited unlike the rest of the Eternals as ordered by Ajak. But I find myself already very critical of most movies even the worshipped Marvel titles, but Eternals is just really good to me (albeit not perfect sure) and I don't understand why people hate it.

Storywise, GotG is living in the head of a dead celestial, so they could get written in due to the Eternals running across them by accident while trying to track down the World Engine.
