Synopsis. An artist leaves the bustling Bangladesh capital Dhaka to relocate to a coastal village on the Bangladeshi delta for inspiration. Welcomed by the local fishermen, the artist’s modern ideas and sculptures enchant the local chairman and the children, but not all welcome his modern approach with such open arms.
The Salt in Our Waters) is a 2020 Bangladeshi drama film written and directed by Rezwan Shahriar Sumit. It was screened at the BFI London Film Festival in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2020 and was later released in Bangladesh on 26 November 2021, over one year later.
