•With the exception of "Grandmas to the Rescue" and "Feathered Turtle", all of the episodes featured in the DVD have Ricky as the main character.
•Both Turtle Reef and Turtle Paradise have been put in a double feature set.
•Outside of its DVD release, Turtle Reef is also available on Microsoft Store, Google Play, iTunes, YouTube Movies, and Amazon Prime.
•The trailer features several episodes that didn't appear in the DVD: "The Shark's Tooth", "Sweet Scorpfish", "The Invaders", "Pipo's Pack", and "Flying Turtles".
•The opening sequence featured in the DVD is almost the same as the one used for the series, but there's something different near the end of it. After the verse "Is here for you", it shows two clips from "Like a Grownup" before the "Sammy & Co: Turtle Reef" logo is shown.
•The episodes featured in the DVD didn't show the episode title, and the script and storyboard credits.
