It was adapted for the screen by Laird Koenig from the 1984 novel Minnie oder Ein Fall von Geringfügigkeit ("Minnie, or a Case of Insignificance") by Hans Werner Kettenbach .

Synopsis. She was his only hope. He was her only alibi.
