The setting of late Thatcherite South Wales brings a dour realism to the fast moving and almost glamorous beginning of this movie. The journey you'll be taken on at best involves falling over and badly grazing yourself. But there's humour too, and even joy if you keep your mind open.
I Know You Know suffers from a structural flaw that makes it more difficult to identify with Jamie – stand-in for the younger Kerrigan himself and the film's central point-of-view – than it ought to be.
