Each year, Sidney kicks off its Canada Day celebrations early with a “Sidney Days” launch on June 30th. This year’s evening event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Beacon Park and includes an opening ceremony, live music from Tune Raiders , and a fireworks show.
Sidney is a town located at the northern end of the Saanich Peninsula, on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia. It is one of the thirteen Greater Victoria municipalities. It has a population of approximately 11,583.
