In "See No Evil", a milquetoast computer programmer spies the killer of the call-girl who has just serviced him, as she is stabbed in the street outside his apartment. Then the killer begins playing games with him (there's a pretty nice bit with a deliberately thrown shadow) even as the police detective becomes suspicious.
The Intruder A woman (Cheryl Wilson) gets a watchdog, when break-ins start happening around her neighborhood, but her husband (Richard Monette) is secretly, obviously, terrified of dogs. Leading to a somewhat one-sided battle for household dominance.

'Mania' is a surprisingly effective and frequently chilling 80s horror compendium, superbly written, strongly acted with a slickly-honed sense of impending doom, this especially diabolical collection of creep-fried Canadian celluloid remains an entirely worthy addition to any true B-horror compendium connoisseurs attention!
