Jul 22, 2021 · Surf Dayton offers lessons surfing the Miami River. The organization was co-founded by a Dayton native and an EMT from California. River surfing allows surfers to ride low long waves at whitewater parks. Surf Dayton built its first physical surf shop in 2020, debuting it this summer. Over the past three years, interest in river surfing has grown.

Remembering the “Surf Olentangy” bikini girl art not used for the ’76 Beach Boys concert shirts, SURF OHIO came to me as a logical slogan to pair with the surfer dude. It was short and sweet, to the point, and offered some simple yet bold graphic options.
