Mr. Shye, a theological student, follows a beautiful young woman to the door of Maxim's, a Broadway cabaret, and there discovers that she is a dancer named Tottie Twinkletoes. That night, Shye and his three friends dine at Maxim's, where they are delighted by the dancers and completely enthralled by Tottie's charms.
