  4. Terry Uttley. 9th June 1951-16th December 2021. Bass guitarist Terry Uttley, one of the founder members of the band SMOKIE back in the 1970s sadly and unexpectedly passed away after a short Illness. Terry was a pupil at St. Bede's School in Bradford when the group was first formed and remained as the 'daddy' of the band throughout the decades.
