Emma Pollock (born 20 December 1972) is a Scottish singer-songwriter, musician, and a founding member of the bands The Delgados and The Burns Unit. She is also one of the founders of The Fruit Tree Foundation project and a contributor to Vox Liminis , a project linking prison experience and songwriting.
My name is Emma Pollock and as a solo artist I sing, write songs and every now and again get around to recording them. I wasn’t always a solo artist though – my first musical adventure was with the band The Delgados formed in 1995 in Glasgow with Stewart Henderson, Paul Savage & Alun Woodward. We released 5 studio albums and split in 2005.
