Born on July 16, 1949, Ray played guitar first with Opal Butterf ly and then Hackensack, Mott and that band’s spin-off British Lions, and the Yardbirds associated group Box Of Frogs.

  8. John Fiddler and Ray Major worked the London club circuit for many years. I understand Ray has been quite ill recently, and wish him all the best. John emigrated to the USA in the early 90's and owned a blues bar in Arizona. He has since returned to the UK. He has just (summer 2017) undergone heart surgery, and we wish him all the best.
