JULY 10, 2014: The New York Public Library has named Iris Weinshall its Chief Operating Officer. Weinshall, former commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation and most recently vice chancellor of Facilities Planning, Management, and Construction for the City University of New York, will begin her tenure on Sept. 1.
