Carla Suzanne Denyer (born September 1985) is a British politician who has served as co-leader of the Green Party of England and Wales alongside Adrian Ramsay since 1 October 2021. She was a city councillor in Bristol from 2015 to 2024 (initially for Clifton East ward, and following the 2016 boundary changes for Clifton Down).
Carla Denyer is the co-leader of the Green Party of England and Wales and a former Bristol councillor. She is running for MP in Bristol Central, where she made a record vote share in 2019 and proposed the first Climate Emergency declaration in Europe.
Denyer is the first bisexual leader of a major political party in England and uses her platform to campaign for LGBTQ+ rights, including a reform of the Gender Recognition Act.
