Newtown High School is an accredited public high school in Newtown, Connecticut, United States. As of the 2018–2019 school year, the school serves 1,571 students in grades 9–12 and employs 141 faculty members. It is the only high school of the Newtown Public Schools.
Newtown High School is a high school in Elmhurst, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It occupies an entire city block bound by 48th and 50th Avenues, and 90th and 91st Streets. Its student body consists of approximately 1,878 students.
The mission of Newtown High School is to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of students. Our goal is to establish a nurturing environment where students from diverse backgrounds and ability levels will successfully make the transition from freshman to seniors who are college and career ready.
