Hodan Nalayeh Secondary School, formerly Vaughan Secondary School, is a public secondary school in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1989 by the York Region Board of Education and is currently overseen by the York Region District School Board.
Mar 9, 2021 · Hodan Nalayeh was a Somali-Canadian journalist and Vaughan resident who worked to empower and give voice to women and youth, and the Somali community. We are proud to name a school after her and know that her life and legacy will inspire students, staff members and the community.
