Ben Joseph Green FRS (born 27 February 1977) is a British mathematician, specialising in combinatorics and number theory. He is the Waynflete Professor of Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford.
I am the Waynflete Professor of Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Magdalen College. A CV and Publication List are available. Much of my mathematical work has been in the area now known as additive combinatorics.
Research interests. I am interested in several areas of pure mathematics. Much of my research lies at the interface of analysis, discrete mathematics and number theory, a particular interest being the application of the first two subjects to the third.
Ben Green. Comments: 23 pages. Updated references and made some minor changes recommended by the referee. To appear in Annals of Mathematics. Subjects: Number Theory (math.NT); Classical Analysis and ODEs (math.CA) The web address for this page and the arXiv author id for Ben Green is http://arxiv.org/a/green_b_1.
