Jake David Shapiro (born March 18, 1969) is an American filmmaker and stand-up comedian. Shapiro is best known as the original screenwriter of the film Robin Hood: Men in Tights and for writing the screenplay adaptation of L. Ron Hubbard's novel Battlefield Earth.

Joshua David Shapiro (born June 20, 1973) is an American attorney and politician serving since 2023 as the 48th governor of Pennsylvania. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the 50th attorney general of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2023 and as a member of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners from 2012 to 2017.
