Giovanni Grimaldi (14 November 1917 – 25 February 2001) was an Italian screenwriter, journalist and film director. He was sometimes credited as Gianni Grimaldi.

Giovanni Francesco Grimaldi (1606 – 28 November 1680) was an Italian painter, draughtsman, printmaker and architect. He was an accomplished fresco painter of classical landscapes which were popular with leading Roman families.

Grimaldi was an Italian painter, printmaker and architect. Little is known of his early years although he may have trained in his native Bologna, probably in the circle of the Carracci. In 1626 he moved to Rome and became associated with the group of artists working around Pietro da Cortona.
