Noa Eshkol (28 February 1924 – 14 October 2007) was an Israeli dance composer and textile artist. Eshkol is best known for her co-invention, alongside architect Avraham Wachman, of the Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notation (EWMN) System. [3]
Noa Eshkol was born in 1924 in Kibbutz Degania Bet in Palestine. Her father was Levi Eshkol (1895–1969), who was born in Russia and moved to Palestine in 1914 as part of the Second Aliyah (1904–14). He served as Israel’s prime minister from 1963 until his death in 1969.
