  3. I bought my frontier hawk to serve as a project piece, throwing hawk, and camping tool, and I can certainly say that Cold Steel did not disappoint. I customized mine by stripping off the black coating, refinishing the wooden handle, and by adding a wrap just under the hawk head for aesthetic appeal.
