Evalyn Washington "Evie" McLean (originally named Emily Beale McLean) (November 16, 1921–September 20, 1946), married United States Senator Robert Rice Reynolds (1884–1963), and was found dead by her mother less than five years later, at age 24.
Socialite; married Edward B. McLean, son of the publisher of the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Washington Post in 1908; their home, Friendship, was a center of Washington social life; she owned both the Star of the East and Hope diamonds.
