Cops and Robbers is the perfect party or family game that can be played with a simple deck. The players are assigned roles based off of the cards that they receive. The player who becomes the Cop will attempt to find the Robber.
The players in the middle of the gym are the robbers. The players outside the safe zone, scattered around the playing area, are the cops. The object of the game is for the robbers to steal as many bean bags as they can and bring them back to their safe zone without being tagged by a cop.
Before you begin. Mark out a playing area. This game works best outdoors as a wide game, though it can be played in a large indoor space too. Mark out the 'Cops' base. If you have lots of players, you could have more than one base. Fill the 'Cops' base with something for the 'Robbers' to steal.
