Karl Hajos (born Hajós Károly, [2] January 28, 1889 – February 1, 1950) was a Hungarian composer who worked on many film scores. Born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Hajos emigrated to the United States in 1924 and worked in Hollywood.
The Billion Dollar Scandal is a 1933 American pre-Code drama film directed by Harry Joe Brown and written by Beatrice Banyard, Willard Mack and Gene Towne. The film stars Robert Armstrong, Constance Cummings, Olga Baclanova, Frank Morgan, James Gleason, Irving Pichel and Warren Hymer.
Plot. Neil Dunlap, an attorney whose wife has left him for a richer man, goes on a drinking binge and impulsively marries his neighbor Pansy Gray, a burlesque performer he once defended in court. After initially contemplating annulment, the unusual couple decide to try making the marriage work.
Karl Hajos. Music Department: Summer Storm. Composer and songwriter, educated at the University of Budapest and the Academy of Music in Budapest. He wrote several operettas in Europe and the USA, including "The Black Pierrot", "The Red Cat", "Natja", "White Lilacs", and "America Sings".
