Olga Constantinovna of Russia ( Greek: Όλγα; 3 September [ O.S. 22 August] 1851 – 18 June 1926) was Queen of Greece as the wife of King George I. She was briefly the regent of Greece in 1920.
Apr 3, 2018 · Olga Constantinovna, who was always held in high esteem by the Greek people, died six years later at the age of 74 on 18 June 1926. She is the grandmother of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and great-grandmother of the King.
Olga arrived in the city the next day to accompany her husband’s body back to Athens. She retained a wing of the Royal Palace in Athens but spent much of her time in Russia.
