Why this man - more offender than attender, and little concern for musicals - is interviewed is beyond me. 'Repeat Attenders' reaffirms a narrative of superfans as unfulfilled people and then adds a potential murderer to the mix. Rarely are these people valued for the unique knowledge they have.
There's a point about an hour into Repeat Attenders where the director decides to derail his own moderately competent documentary by platforming a man who repeatedly threatened to rape Debbie Gibson.
