The film stars Maxime Le Flaguais as Serge, a truck driver who takes his young daughter Lily (Lilou Roy-Lanouette) on a cross-Canada road trip to attend a truck rodeo in Alberta, against the context of a dispute with his ex-wife (Whitney Lafleur) over custody of her.
A hard-living trucker who likes to enter truck races (or truck rodeos, as they are known out West), decides to travel with his 9-year-old daughter and head out west, for just such an event. But getting from Quebec to Alberta will not be so easy.
After a chance meeting at a rodeo, Julia finds herself drawn into a clandestine clique and strives to prove herself to the ultra-masculine group. Julia is then faced with a series of escalating demands that will make or break her place in the community.
