May 10, 2003 · Magdalen Sophie von Sachsen-Merseburg was born on 19 October 1651. She was the daughter of Christian I Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg and Christiana zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. She died on 29 March 1675 at age 23.
Sophie Hedwig, aged 25, died in childbirth on August 2, 1686, after giving birth to a stillborn son. She was buried in the Johanneskirche in Saalfeld, Duchy of Saxe-Saalfeld, now in Thuringia, Germany.
