Middle Tenn. St. Vaught–Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field is an outdoor athletic stadium located in University, Mississippi, United States (although it has an Oxford address). The stadium serves as the home for the University of Mississippi Rebels college football team.
The momentous Ole Miss-Alabama encounter in 2009 attracted a crowd of 62,657, the second largest ever to watch a football game on campus in Mississippi at the time. The Rebels’ matchup with LSU in 2003 gathered 62,552 fans, and the 2004 Tennessee game drew 62,028.
The Rebels play their home games at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium on the university's campus in Oxford, Mississippi. Founded in 1893 as the state's first football team, Ole Miss has won six Southeastern Conference titles, in 1947, 1954, 1955, 1960, 1962, and 1963.
A landmark of Ole Miss tradition and an anchor for the strong future of Rebel Football can be found on the southeast side of the University of Mississippi campus and it is none other than the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The stadium has received several upgrades in the last few years.

Oct 28, 2016 · Built in 1915, Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in college football. It was originally named Hemingway Stadium, in honor of the late Judge William Hemingway, a former law professor and chairman for the University of Mississippi Athletics Committee.
The stadium, known as Hemingway Stadium for much of its existence, began its long historic life in 1915 when students at the University helped in the construction of the first football grandstand at the site of the present field.
Built for the Ole Miss Rebels, Vaught Hemingway Stadium is the largest stadium in Mississippi and one of the oldest stadiums in college football. In 1915 a 24,000 seat stadium was build a part of a federally sponsored project at the University of Mississippi.
