Chicago P.D. is an American police procedural action drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead and is the second installment of Wolf's Wolf Entertainment's Chicago franchise. The series premiered on NBC as a mid-season replacement on January 8, 2014.
Chicago P.D.: Created by Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Matt Olmstead, Dick Wolf. With Jason Beghe, Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins. Follows District 21 of the Chicago Police Department, made up of two different groups: the uniformed cops and the Intelligence Unit.
