Churchill College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. It has a primary focus on science, engineering and technology, but retains a strong interest in the arts and humanities .
Churchill College is one of the larger Cambridge colleges, home to around 485 undergraduates and 390 postgraduates, most of whom live on-site. Our expansive 42 acre campus includes on-site gym, Music Centre, Archives Centre, theatre, recording studio, sports fields, squash court, dance studio and more.
Undergraduates live and study alongside our many postgraduate students, working under the guidance of our large Fellowship of teachers, lecturers, professors, and researchers. Churchill College’s attitude is forward-looking, outward-reaching, and can-do.
Founded by Royal Charter in 1960, Churchill College is one of the newer Cambridge colleges. It was created to embody the vision of Sir Winston Churchill for how higher education can benefit society in the modern age.

Churchill College is a Hill College, meaning it is about a 15-20 minute walk, or 10 minute cycle from the centre of town. We have the biggest college site; providing room for a gym, music centre, library, tennis courts, netball courts, squash courts, sports fields and accommodation for all undergraduates.
