Bogart plays Vincent Parry, an escaped convict trying to prove his innocence in the murder of his wife. Stowed away in a barrel on the back of a truck leaving San Quentin State Prison, Parry rocks the barrel back and forth until it falls off the truck and goes rolling down a hill.
