Monica Barrett (played by Anne Archer) is a widow and a respected judge with a daughter in her late twenties. After she is nominated to the United States Supreme Court she meets Jack Sullivan (Michael Shanks), a charismatic Irishman who claims to be an up and coming writer.
A highly respected female judge is nominated to the Supreme Court just before she meets a dashing new man. A weekend away turns into a nightmare after he drugs and rapes her. She must decide if she should go public and reveal this psychopath and risk ruining her good name or keep it a secret....
