Feb 14, 2019 · During the final dialogue between A2 and 9S we learn that 2B's real designation was 2E. From "Amnesia" side quest we know that "E" stands for "Execution". In this scene there's also mentioned it was very hard for 2B to kill 9S over and over again (A2 points that out and 9S marks it in his thoughts).
