Drop Off Locations - Samaritan's Purse Canada. Shoebox Drop-Off Locations. Find Locations. National Collection Week: November 18 – 24, 2024. During National Collection Week, over 300 Drop-off Locations will be open across Canada to receive your shoebox gifts. Don’t forget to make your $12-per-shoebox donation. Every year, National Collection Week takes place the third week in November when more than 4,500 drop-off locations open across the country. Throughout the year, you can also Build a Shoebox Online, or mail or drop off your gift-filled shoeboxes at one of our permanent centers listed below.

By serving as a Drop-off location you have the opportunity to engage in ministry on a local level. Families, businesses, schools, and groups from your community will come through your doors to drop-off shoebox gifts. This creates a unique and powerful opportunity to welcome, connect and pray with them.
As a Drop-off location, people from the community will come to you during National Collection Week (the third week in November). This provides an opportunity to invite them to upcoming Christmas events and other ministry events taking place at your church.
Shoebox gifts provide opportunities for churches worldwide to share the Gospel with children. Since 2009, over 20.3 million children have responded by committing their lives to Christ! - Find a Shoebox. Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately. You can use your own shoeboxes or order our colorful preprinted ones.
- Girl or Boy? Decide whether you will pack a box for a girl or a boy, and the age category: 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14.
- Fill with Gifts. Select a medium to large "wow" item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies.
- Pray. Most importantly, "pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17) for the child who will receive your shoebox gift. Please also pray for: Their family to also be receptive to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Participants can use the online lookup tool to find the nearest drop-off location and hours of operation as they make plans to drop off their shoebox gifts. It is searchable by city or ZIP code. Signs at each location will identify the drop off.
