When his entire family is murdered by a rival clan of kidnapers, Vito must flee for his own life and in the end attempts to make atonement for some of his family's sins.
The haunting Italian film FLIGHT OF THE INNOCENT becomes a metaphor for twentieth-century man as ten-year-old Vito flees for his life from unknown and unnamed terrors. Scarcely speaking throughout the movie, Vito has seen his entire family and another young boy massacred.
