Apr 9, 2021 · Peel Region will have a new senior staffer next month. The region has named Gary Kent as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and commissioner of corporate services, effective May 10. Kent is currently Mississauga’s CFO and head of corporate services, a position he has held for seven years.
Since 2004, Gary has reported to the City Manager and Chief Administrative Officer as the Director of City Strategy and Innovation and also acted as Director of Finance during a period when the organization was recruiting.
